Antoine Blanchard is the pseudonym under which French artist Marcel Masson (1910-1988) , painted his immensely popular Parisian street scene.He was born in a small village near the banks of the Loire on 15 November 1910.

 

Blanchard received his first artistic training at the Ecole des Beaux -Arts in Rennes , Brittany .Then he moved to Paris .
